Why the snake?
The symbolism of the snake holds personal significance for me. Mainly because of the respect for my father’s military service and the values he and my mother instilled in me. I see the snake as a reminder to respect boundaries, acknowledge hard work, and not let judgments bring you down. A get back up and keep going mentality.
I’m drawn to the resilience and boldness it conveys. It resonates with the determination and grit required in life. As snakes grow, they shed layers. I like this as a reminder, shedding layers to reveal one’s true self. You can’t fake the hard work done in the gym, just like you can’t fake the hard work done in life.
Thank you to all my people and pups who continually inspire me to push boundaries.
